Growing up in a Navy family and then serving for 32 years myself I always attended services with Navy Catholic chaplains. I have always been impressed with their sense of duty and self-sacrifice in serving our military community. I have known many outstanding Navy Catholic chaplains and when Archbishop Broglio asked me to help promote Father Capodanno’s Cause for Sainthood I told him I would be happy to help in any way I could.
