The 2017 Annual Memorial Mass for Father Vincent R. Capodanno, MM, United States Navy Chaplain and Vietnam War hero, will be held on September 5th at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC.
This year, the Mass takes place on the 50th Anniversary of Father Capodanno’s heroic death a on a Vietnam battlefield.
His Excellency, the Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, J.C.D., Archbishop for the United States Military Services, USA, will be the main celebrant and homilist.
